Description
(ZAD) A deferred development area created by a law of 26 July 1962 for an anti-speculative purpose, in order to prevent land necessary for carrying out a public development project from being increased when the project was announced.
A local authority or a Société d’économie mixte (SEM) holding a development agreement has, for a period of 6 years, a right of pre-emption on all sales and disposals for consideration of immovable property or social rights
