Probability of the occurrence of a potential flood forest or forest herb in 2021

Description

The data includes modelled deposits of floodplains and forest groves that are significant from the point of view of biodiversity. Sites can be taken into account in conservation programmes, nature management of valuable habitats and water management planning. Potential sites have been searched in areas where flood risk maps (sea and water floods) produced in Syke are available. The material presents the probability of the occurrence of a potential object in three categories: large, medium or small. The dataset is raster-shaped (8m x 8m). The sites typical of flood forests and forest lumber are searched on the basis of trees, habitat, land use. The interpretation is based on the processing and combination of spatial data and remote sensing data. The project uses a two-stage model. Initially, the so-called decision tree made by experts is used to demarcate areas from flooded areas that are potential floodplains or forest groves. The machine learning algorithm, on the other hand, is used to prioritize the areas defined above based on the probability of the occurrence of floodplains or forest groves. The sites were mapped by combining the following themes in flood risk areas: -Flood probability and trees -Flood occurrence (every 1/2 to 1/50 years) -Picking length (> 5 m) -Share of broadleaved wood (>= 20%) -Land use -Built area -Current and former fields (time series 1995-2018) -Soil -Swamps and swamps (MTK) Combining and analyzing the data has been done in 8 lattices, the result: 8 m raster frequency of flooding potential sites in river and sea flood areas
