Description

The river basin dataset is the basis for the establishment of a river basin management plan. River basin district management plans are regional planning documents to ensure water protection and sustainability. Each river basin district has its own plan for 6 years — there are river basin district management plans for Daugava, Gauja, Lielupe and Venta in Latvia.
