Description
The redistribution of the boundaries of polling stations scrupulously respects both the boundaries of the new townships and those of the legislative districts.
On 25 August 2014, the Prefectural Decree establishing the polling stations in the department of Vienna for the period from 1 March 2015 to 29 February 2016, validates the new geographical boundaries of the polling stations of the City of Poitiers.
Decree n°2014-264 of 26 February 2014 on the delimitation of cantons in the department of Vienna, published on 1 March 2014, defines 5 cantons in the municipality of Poitiers
The distribution of voters in polling stations is now done by address rather than by initial surname.
