Provincial Environment Regulation — silence areas
Description
This map was established by GS on 18 November 2013 and shows the 39 quiet areas that the Province of North Holland is rich. The areas with Nos 26 and 28 have lapsed. The silence areas are included in the Environmental Policy Plan 2015-2018 and enshrined in the Provincial Environment Regulation (PMV) through the designation as environmental protection areas category silence. The Province intends to review its policy on silence areas by the end of 2016. Any subsequent adjustments will be included in an updated map at a later date. The location of the areas is based on the study “Review of silence areas” (2001) and Intention Evaluation from 1985.
