Urban Plans of Middle Cities

Description

Series of plans of Andalusian middle cities of historical, tourist, or geographical interest. The basis for its elaboration were the cartographies 1:2,000 and 1:1,000, the urban and territorial flights and the toponymic and planimetric information provided by the municipal technical services. Divided into 205x205 m or 200x200 m UTM grids, these plans include a brief presentation of the city and its location. Likewise, it includes a list of unique streets and buildings, alphabetically ordered and referenced with respect to the grids where they are located. It is intended to have urban plans of cities with a population of between 30.000 and 50.000 hab. due to their strategic importance in the Planning of the Territory. Most of the paper maps were published in the late 1990s and the first of the two thousand. In 2008 they were digitised and in 2009 they were published on the web portal to improve their dissemination and possibilities of use.
