Barrio urbano (g13_24_BarrioUrbano)
Description
It contains an approximate delimitation of the districts and neighbourhoods of the large Andalusian cities. In some cases: Seville, Malaga, Cordoba and Granada it has been established by the respective city councils for the decentralisation of their services in response to the provisions of Law 57/2003 of 16 December on Measures for the Modernisation of Local Government and Law 2/2008 of 10 December which regulates the access of Andalusian municipalities to the organisational regime of municipalities with a large population.
Although a division into districts has been included, based on information obtained from municipal websites, the City Councils of Almería, Marbella, Huelva, Jerez de la Frontera and Cádiz have only officialised the division into districts. In the remaining cases: Jaén, Algeciras and Dos Hermanas the information provided has only a toponymic value as there is no official division.
