Geoparks (g11_13_Geoparks)
Description
Updated map of the Geoparks in Andalusia. The figure of Geopark, declared by UNESCO, represents a territory with a particular geological richness and a sustainable territorial development strategy supported to promote development.
Andalusia has three Geoparks: Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park (July 2006), Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park (July 2006) and Sierra Norte Natural Park (September 2011), last revised on 01 September 2011.
