National mineral deposits INSPIRE View
Description
The Latvian mineral deposits register (formerly known as the mine cadastral), which contains important information on mineral deposits — deposits and forecasted stock areas identified in the territory of Latvia in various years. The minerals in the register are divided into three groups:
—fields of raw materials of building materials (including areas of estimated stocks) — limestone, gypsum stone, dolomite, clay, quartz sand, sand and gravel, freshwater limestone;
— peat deposits;
— groundwater deposits.
The viewing service displays the data of the State deposit, prepared in accordance with the INSPIRE specification.
