Production Units of Integrated Production of Andalusia

Decree 245/2003 of 2 September, as amended by Decree 7/2008 of 15 January, regulates integrated production and its indication on agricultural products and their processed within the territory of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, covering matters such as the procedure for registration in the Register of Integrated Production of Andalusia.
Integrated production is defined as the agricultural production systems that use and ensure long-term sustainable agriculture, introducing biological and chemical control methods, and other techniques that reconcile the requirements of society, the protection of the environment and agricultural productivity, as well as the operations carried out for the handling, packaging, processing and labelling of plant products covered by the system.
