Description
Digital basis that presents, in a vector file of polygons, the delimitation of the Andalusian agrarian regions established by the Ministry of Agriculture in 1976 (from the typification of the Spanish agricultural regions (depending on 25 variables).
In 1996 the Technical General Secretariat of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) published the new “Agrarian Comarcalisation” in which 326 agricultural regions are established for the whole of Spain, which is still in force today (source: book of the Agrarian Regionalisation of Spain by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, 1996).
