Description
The fisheries that are practiced in Andalusia can be defined as multispecific and of great diversity, both by the gears and boats used, and by the species that are exploited (Gil de Sola, 1993). These fisheries can be clearly differentiated into two regions: Atlantic (Gulf of Cadiz) and Mediterranean (Alboran Sea).
