Location of Centers, Establishments and Health Services

The specific layer of Localisation of Centers, Establishments and Services of the Public Health System of Andalusia (SSPA) and private, is obtained from the geocoding by postal address of public and private health resources. Interpolation operations are carried out gradually and continuously incorporating improvements in the SICESS Information System and geocoding procedures using Mercator SIG. It is used in the Catalogue of Assistance Centers with spatial reference for subsequent publication in the Corporate Geographic Information System and as basic information in the exercise of the competences of the Ministry of Health in the management, planning, evaluation and dissemination of the resources of the Public Health System of Andalusia. The information, created and stored in GIS format, has been collected at the level of portaler, at 1:2,000 scale.
