Description
Digital base that locates the existing railway stations, stops and unloadings in Andalusia. It is generated with the intention of collecting and maintaining, in a layer of digitised information, the territorial distribution of the stations, stops and unloading of railways existing in the Autonomous Community in order to establish a cartographic reference for the planning tasks of the Public Administration. It aims to respond to the needs of the “Infrastructure Plan for Transport Sustainability in Andalusia (PISTA 2007-2013)”. The data, which are in shape format at 1:100,000 scale, are updated as necessary since 2006 in the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, the body responsible for information.
